IP Law & Work Experience
Kevin Holbeche has intellectual property law experience in a wide range of sectors, including automotive, communications, computers, data, entertainment, life sciences, logistics, manufacturing, media, medical devices, networking, and online services.
He has helped to build multi-million dollar IP asset portfolios and to make deals happen for the companies and people who own them.
Before IP law, he was granted biology and sociology degrees, and gained a diverse work background as an industrial laboratory researcher, computer programmer, engineering draftsman, website developer, and desktop publisher.
Kevin Edward Holbeche next obtained his Juris Doctor law degree to best professionally service clients as a patent and trademark agent and IP lawyer.
He served as a partner – first, in a Canadian-based, multinational corporate law firm of 700+ lawyers, and then in a small IP boutique – before ultimately founding HOLBECHE LAW in 2016.
Kevin builds long-term working relationships with clients, and tailors a strategic approach to fit the intellectual property needs of each individual and company.

Lawyer: Barrister & Solicitor. Law Society of Ontario Member (of the Upper Canada Bar) in Good Standing. Bar Admission Course, Toronto, Ontario (2000). Admitted to practise before the Courts of Ontario and the Federal Court of Canada (2001).
Patent & Trademark Agent: Registered Canadian Trademark Agent (2002). Recognized to represent Canadian Applicants for US Trademark Registrations (2003). Registered Canadian Patent Agent (2004). Recognized to represent Canadian patent applicants before the World IP Organization (2004). Registered US Patent Agent (2005).
